Who We Are

QuranRoof is a trusted online Quran academy based in Islamabad, Pakistan, providing live, one on one Quran education to Muslim families worldwide since 2013. Over more than a decade, we’ve helped students, children and adults alike, across the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Europe learn to read, recite, and memorize the Holy Quran under the guidance of certified and experienced teachers.

We’re proudly Pakistan based. Pakistan is home to some of the world’s most respected Quranic scholars, Huffaz, and Tajweed specialists, and our academy draws on this rich tradition of authentic Islamic education to deliver world class Quran teaching directly to your home, wherever in the world you happen to be.

Our mission is straightforward: to make authentic, high quality Quran education accessible to every Muslim family in the world, regardless of where they live or their current level of knowledge. We believe every Muslim, young or old, beginner or advanced, living in London or Los Angeles, Sydney or Dubai, deserves access to a qualified, patient Quran teacher who can guide them with care, knowledge, and sincerity.

We achieve this through live, personalized one on one online Quran classes delivered via Zoom, Skype, or WhatsApp Video, removing every barrier between a student and their Quranic education except the desire to learn.

Our Values

Everything we do at QuranRoof is guided by four core values.

Authenticity. We teach the Quran exactly as it was revealed, with proper Tajweed and correct pronunciation, through teachers who hold formal Ijazah and verified Islamic qualifications.

Accessibility. We serve students of all ages, all levels, and all backgrounds, including complete beginners, Muslim converts, and adults learning for the first time.

Inclusivity. We provide both male and female Quran teachers so every student, regardless of age or gender, can learn in a comfortable, respectful environment.

Quality. Every teacher at QuranRoof is rigorously vetted, formally qualified, and regularly reviewed to keep our teaching standards consistently high.

Our Teachers: Certified, Qualified, and Dedicated

The quality of a Quran teacher shapes the quality of a student’s entire learning journey. At QuranRoof, we take teacher selection seriously. Every teacher on our platform has to meet strict qualification criteria before being assigned to any student.

Formal Islamic education, Hifz certification, Tajweed Ijazah, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Ijazah in Tajweed, a certified, unbroken chain of Quran transmission, for all Tajweed course teachers
Hifz completion: all Hifz programme supervisors have memorized the complete Holy Quran
Proven online teaching experience, real proficiency teaching via Zoom, google meet, Microsoft Teams and WhatsApp Video
Child-safe teaching standards: every teacher working with children is assessed for appropriate, safe online methods
Ongoing quality review, regular lesson assessments to maintain teaching standards

We provide both male and female Quran teachers across all 8 of our courses. Female students of any age are always matched with a qualified female teacher on request, at no extra cost.

Since our founding in 2013, QuranRoof has grown from a small tutoring service into a trusted online Quran academy serving students across multiple continents. Our students come from all walks of life, Pakistani and Arab expat families in the Gulf, Muslim communities across the UK and North America, converts to Islam across Europe and Australia, and families everywhere in between who share one thing in common: a sincere desire to connect with the Holy Quran.

We serve students in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, and across Europe. Our Pakistan-based teachers are available across all major time zones, with morning, evening, and weekend slots to suit every schedule.
