Being able to recite the Quran well doesn’t automatically mean someone can teach it effectively online. Every teacher at QuranRoof has to meet a set of requirements before joining our team.
- Formal Quran education, at minimum a Hifz or Tajweed certification from a recognized Islamic institution
- Ijazah in Tajweed for every teacher delivering our Tajweed course, a certified chain of Quran transmission
- Full Hifz completion for all teachers running the Hifz programme, since they’ve been through it themselves
- Practical online teaching experience with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and WhatsApp Video
- A background check for every teacher, given they’ll be working with children online
- Ongoing lesson quality reviews to keep teaching standards consistent
